Choosing a Website Plan, Without the Jargon

Not sure what hosting, SSL or SEO actually mean? You're not alone. This page explains everything in my plans in plain English, and which plan suits which kind of business. Choosing comes down to three simple steps.

  • Pick the Size of Site You Need

Starter, Growth or Pro. The main differences are how many pages you get and extras like online booking and a blog.

  • Pick How You Want to Pay

A monthly plan with hosting and updates included, or a one-time payment for the build.

  • Leave the Technical Side to Me

I design, build and launch your site, and explain every step in normal language along the way.

Which Plan Suits Your Business?

Every business is different, but most fit one of these three. If you're stuck between two, get in touch and I'll give you an honest recommendation. I'd rather you start on the right plan than the biggest one.

  • Starter: Getting Online

    £150 a month or £3,500 one-time
Best for sole traders, tradespeople, consultants and new businesses. If customers mainly need to find you, see what you do and call or message you, Starter covers it with a clear, professional site of up to 5 pages.

  • Growth: Taking Bookings

    £275 a month or £6,000 one-time
Best for appointment-based businesses like salons, clinics, personal trainers, dog groomers and cafés. Online booking lets customers book any time, and a blog helps you get found on Google. Up to 10 pages. This is the plan I recommend most.

  • Pro: Staying Ahead

    £400 a month or £8,000 one-time
Best for established businesses with lots of services or more than one location, often in busy markets like dental, legal or estate agency. Up to 20 pages, strategic SEO and, on the monthly plan, ongoing design changes and a quarterly performance review.

Ways to Pay

Monthly or One-Time: What's the Difference?

Both options get you the same custom-built website. The difference is how you pay for it and who looks after it once it's live.

  • Monthly: Low Upfront Cost

No setup fee. You pay your first month when you sign. The first 12 months are the minimum term, then it rolls on month to month and you can cancel with 30 days' notice.

    Read the monthly terms
  • Monthly: Everything Looked After

Hosting, security, content updates and support are all included, so you never have to think about the technical side. Your domain, content and data stay yours, and you can buy the site outright later if you want to.

    How hosting and care work
  • One-Time: Own It Outright

Pay 50% when you sign and the rest when your site is finished. Once it's paid for, the code and designs are yours. Every build includes 30 days of support after launch.

    Read the one-time terms
  • One-Time: Add Care When You Need It

Add hosting, SSL and security for £20 a month and content updates for £40 a month. A good fit if you'd rather pay once and keep your running costs low.
